Violin Revarnish After Tung Oil | Stripped Top and Finish Correction

This violin arrived with its top already stripped, while the back, ribs, and scroll appeared to have been revarnished using Tung Oil—resulting in an uneven, blotchy finish. I carefully removed the remaining varnish, evened out the surface, and brought the instrument back to a more traditional appearance. Here are some photos documenting the process.
