Student Cello End Pin Block Repair: Photos and Process

Another endpin block repair. On this one I was able to glue the split block together. Then glue the top back onto the block.

Here is a student cello where the end pin block was collapsed because the block was broken in 3 or 4 places. Normally I would take the top off and repair or replace the block, but since this cello wasn't worth that repair, I tried to fix it without taking the top off and it was saved from the dumpster. Here are some photos of that proeess.
